Meet Stephanie Chang
Davis-Jackson Alumni Honoree
Stephanie Chang, a 1985 graduate of Bridgeport High School, is executive
editor of PC Magazine, a 1.2-million circulation, a twice-monthly magazine
with offices in New York City. In addition to directing the
general editorial operations of the magazine, she represents the magazine
on weekly television news segments for Fox 5 New York, as well as in occasional
appearances on CNN Headline News. She has been in her current
position since November 2001.
A graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., Chang has a bachelor
of science degree from Medill School of Journalism.
Since leaving the daily newspaper in 1995, she has served in editorial
positions at various magazines, including React magazine (weekly national
news magazine for teenagers) in New York City; Connect-Time ( a national
monthly magazine and syndicated news service about the internet for beginning
users) in Chicago; Access (a national weekly lifestyle magazine) in Needham,
Mass.; and most recently PC Magazine.
Chang and her husband reside in New York City. Her parents,
Dr. and Mrs. T. H. Chang, reside in Agoura Hills, Cal. Her
father was formerly a physician in Bridgeport and Clarksburg. |
